Introduction: Lymphodepleting chemotherapy (LDC) is critical to CAR T-cell expansion and efficacy. Despite this, there is not a consensus in the literature regarding the optimal LDC regimen, including dose and frequency.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed consecutive patients at a single institution that received LDC prior to treatment with the CD19 directed CAR T-cell products axicabtagene ciloleucel and tisagenlecleucel.
U4 small nuclear RNA (snRNA) plays a fundamental role in the process of premessenger RNA splicing, yet many questions remain regarding the location, interactions, and roles of its functional domains. To address some of these questions, we developed the first in vitro reconstitution system for yeast U4 small nuclear ribonucleoproteins (snRNPs). We used this system to examine the functional domains of U4 by measuring reconstitution of splicing, U4/U6 base-pairing, and triple-snRNP formation.

Hayduk (1980) used a classical conditioning-biofeedback overlap (CBO) design to teach six volunteers to warm their hands in an ambient temperature of - 14 degrees C. He found voluntarily warmed hands to be more dexterous, more sensitive, and less painful in the cold laboratory setting than unwarmed hands. The present paper reports a 1-year follow-up of five of Hayduk's original six volunteers.

The prolonged exposure of hands to cold environments leads to substantial cold pain and severe deterioration of manual dexterity, finger dexterity, hand strength, and tactile sensitivity. This study taught volunteers to warm their hands at -14 degrees Celsius and measured the hand efficiency effects. The subjects were six male and female nonsmoking volunteers.
