Phosphorus (P) is an essential nutrient for maize growth, significantly affecting both yield and quality. Despite the typically high concentration of available P in black soils, the efficiency of crop uptake and utilization remains relatively low. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of different P fertilizers on maize yield, root growth parameters, and P use efficiency to identify strategies for optimizing P management in black soil regions.

Article Synopsis
  • The XENONnT dark matter experiment successfully measured nuclear recoils from solar ^{8}B neutrinos, marking a significant advancement in neutrino detection technology.
  • Using a two-phase time projection chamber with a 5.9 t liquid xenon target, the experiment produced 37 observed events, which surpassed the expected background events, indicating a notable signal.
  • The results provide a measured solar neutrino flux consistent with previous studies and confirm the neutrino cross section predictions aligned with the Standard Model, showcasing the effectiveness of dark matter detectors in neutrino research.

The Pauli Exclusion Principle (PEP) appears from fundamental symmetries in quantum field theories, but its physical origin is still to be understood. High-precision experimental searches for small PEP violations permit testing key assumptions of the Standard Model with high sensitivity. We report on a dedicated measurement with Gator, a low-background, high-purity germanium detector operated at the Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso, aimed at testing PEP-violating atomic transitions in lead.

Intimate relationship distress is prevalent and is associated with poorer health, mental health, and mortality outcomes. Evidence-based couple therapies target cognitive, behavioral, and emotional processes that underlie relationship dysfunction. Increasing research and clinical evidence supports the efficacy of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) for addressing clinical mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, and more.

The multi-staged XENON program at INFN Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso aims to detect dark matter with two-phase liquid xenon time projection chambers of increasing size and sensitivity. The XENONnT experiment is the latest detector in the program, planned to be an upgrade of its predecessor XENON1T. It features an active target of 5.
