Cerebral activities were measured during 21 essions in NeurOptimal (NO)-trained patients with bruxism. Salivary cortisol levels were quantified for each six training sessions (session 1, 6, 12, 18, 21) in 12 patients with bruxism after performing their pre- and post-NeurOptimal sessions. Their cortisol levels were compared with controls (without stress).

Background: While depression is a leading cause of poor health, less than half of older adults receive adequate care. Inequities in both access and outcomes are even more pronounced for socially disadvantaged older adults. The collaborative care model (CCM) has potential to reduce this burden through community-based organizations (CBOs) who serve these populations.

Vaccine stockouts around the world: Are essential vaccines always available when needed?

Introduction: As countries rise to the challenge of implementing the priorities of this "Decade of Vaccine" and their commitments delineated in the Global Vaccine Action Plan (GVAP), many continue to face important challenges of securing a continuous supply of essential vaccine for their national immunization programme. This study provides evidence on the incidence of vaccine stockouts in countries, their root causes and their potential impact on service delivery.

Methods: Vaccine stockout indicators collected from the WHO-UNICEF Joint Reporting Form (JRF) and UNICEF's Vaccine Forecasting Tool were analysed for the years covering the first half of the GVAP (2011 to 2015) and using 2010 as the baseline year.

Expression and activity of trypsin and pepsin during larval development of the spotted rose snapper Lutjanus guttatus.

The present study aimed to describe and understand the development of the digestive system in spotted rose snapper (Lutjanus guttatus) larvae from hatching to 40 days post-hatch (dph). The mouth opened between 2 and 3 dph, at that moment the digestive tract was barely differentiated into the anterior and posterior intestine, although the liver and pancreas were already present. Gastric glands were observed until 20 dph, followed by the differentiation of the stomach between 20 and 25 dph.

The relationship between climate and the distribution of Culicoides imicola in Iberia.

The biting midge Culicoides imicola was captured at 17 of 27 farms in Spain and Portugal during a survey of its distribution following outbreaks of African horse sickness in Iberia that occurred between 1987 and 1990. Farms were sampled approximately twice weekly from October 1992 to February 1995. Farms were widely spaced apart (maximum 850 km) and had considerable variation in climate.
