Assessing the Relationship between Body Image Satisfaction and Physical Activity in Italian Adolescents: A Cross-Sectional Investigation.

Background: Body image perception can significantly influence various aspects of adolescent lives. The study analyzed the relationship between body image satisfaction and sports participation in adolescents, examining various factors that contribute to body image concerns and their implications for sports engagement.

Methods: A total of 237 schoolchildren were recruited from lower secondary Italian schools.

The quality of atmospheric air of Burgas city, Bulgaria was analyzed in relation to PAHs in two particulate matter fractions - 2.5 μm and 10 μm. It was found that PAHs registered in PM represent entirely the ones registered in PM - an indication that the particulate PAHs in ambient air of Burgas for the sampling period are associated with the fine PM fraction.

Qualitative and quantitative determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in fine particulate matter.

A GC-MS method in SIM mode is proposed for routine analysis of nineteen polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of 10 µm. Aim: The colour stability of the silicone is essential for the longevity of facial prostheses. This in vitro study investigates the colour degradation of two different skin shade silicones moulded in Type II and Type III dental stone.

Methods & Materials: Two different types of dental stone were used to fabricate 168 silicone samples (n=42 for each group) using M511 maxillofacial silicone, which was coloured with Spectromatch Procolourants.
