[The treatment of extremity bone fractures in the cases of combined injuries].

The experience of treatment of 76 injured with fractures of two or more extremities in combination with affection of other anatomical areas (head, abdomen, breast, pelvis) was summarized. The extrafocal osteosynthesis was preferable because this method is characterized by low traumatism, minimal blood loss, adequate reposition, stable immobilization and possibility of early load in the apparatus of external fixation. Immersed osteosynthesis is used with great caution as it can cause the development of fat embolism.

[Local application of low-energy aerial and argon plasma in the treatment of suppurative wounds and trophic ulcers].

The authors describe experimental and clinical (113 patients) data demonstrating the antimicrobial, hemostatic and stimulating the regenerating processes property of the low energy plasma in local treatment of purulent and long-standing wounds and trophic ulcers.
