Objective: No biomarkers are available to predict treatment response in patients with endometrial cancers who undergo fertility-sparing treatment. Therefore, we aimed to evaluate the prognostic role of molecular classification.
Methods: Patients with endometrial cancer who underwent fertility-sparing treatment with progestins between 2005 and 2021 were retrospectively identified.
Objectives: Navy personnel and seafarers live and work 24 h per day in the shipboard environment and they are exposed to asbestos fibers released into the confined spaces aboard ships. We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to quantify the mesothelioma risk of seamen working aboard ships, either commercial or naval vessels, as compared to that of the general population.
Methods: We carried out a literature search in MEDLINE through PubMed and EMBASE, from inception to 31 December 2021, of all studies on seamen working aboard ships, either commercial or naval vessels, characterized by exposure to asbestos and providing mesothelioma risk estimates.
The American Veterinary Medical Association recognizes castration to be important for both human and animal safety. Lidocaine delivered through-the-needle has been shown to be effective at reducing cortisol response to castration, but this method has drawbacks for both animals and caretakers. As such, a study was conducted to examine the potential benefits of lidocaine delivery using a pneumatic needle-free device immediately before standing bovine castration.

The plant population is stratified by age (three groups) and by health status (being damaged or not). The last equation models the voles with a modified logistic equation with Allee effect, where the modification takes into account the disturbance provided by the human activity on the orchard.
