The distribution of fibers of different sizes in the gastrointestinal tract in two species of pikas--Pallas' pika Ochotonapallasi and daurian pika O. dauurica--was studied. It was established that fibers of small-sized fractions dominated in all organs of the digestive tract of both pika species, the proportion of which in the stomach proved to be even higher than in fine-grinding voles.

For the period from 2001 to 2011 zoological and epizootological studies in more than 100 points of Northwestern Caucasus including territories of Krasnodar Region and Republic of Adygea were carried out. 8723 specimens of small mammals represented by 20 rodent species and 7 insectivorous species were captured and examined. Organs and blood from 5057 specimens of creatures were studied for hantavirus infection.

Blood theological properties in patients with phlegmons of maxillofacial area before treatment, immediately after surgical treatment and after surgical treatment combined with reamberin therapy were examined in the study. Negatively changed theological profile values somewhat improved after operation, mainly because of blood and serum viscosity decrease by 10-11% and blood transport capability enhancement. But significant positive macro- and microrheological changes was only received by surgical treatment combined with reamberin.

Prevalence of chronic lymphatic leukemia increased in Bashkortostan Republic over 1999-2008 with predominance of urban population, male patients, individuals aged 80-84.
