[Insomnia as a transdiagnostic phenomenon in the elderly with depressive and anxiety disorders.].

The article describes the forms, causes and consequences of insomnia in the elderly. It shows the clinical features of dyssomnic disorders in comorbid depressive and anxiety disorders, as the most common mental pathology of old age. The approaches of Russian and foreign authors to the diagnosis and treatment of insomnia in the elderly are considered.

Cardiovascular function and autonomic regulation in urethane-anesthetized and conscious mice.

Urethane is widely used for its ability to induce prolonged anesthesia. Variability in previously reported cardiovascular parameters in murine models makes it challenging to definitively evaluate the cardiovascular effects of urethane anesthesia. We aimed to address these challenges, thereby advancing our understanding of urethane's effects on cardiovascular function in mice.

Solvatomorphic phase transitions and tunable luminescence emission in lanthanide metal-organic frameworks.

Four new metal-organic frameworks with the formulae [Sm(phen)(NO)(chdc)]·2solv, where solv = ,-dimethylformamide (DMF; 1), ,-dimethylacetamide (DMA; 2), ,-diethylformamide (DEF; 3), -formylpiperidine (NFP; 4), phen = 1,10-phenanthroline and chdc = -1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylate were synthesized and structurally characterized. These compounds are based on similar binuclear samarium(III)-carboxylate blocks, bound by flexible chdc linkers into layered -type coordination networks. The amide solvents drive different intralayer block orientations between 1 and 2-4 and different layer-to-layer packings in all the described compounds.
