The article deals with the method of diaphonization, which consists in clarification and staining of tissues, organs and whole organisms for long-term storage in the form of preparations as one of the modern methods of morphological research and, in general, a powerful tool for studying the internal structure and topography of organisms. The authors have analyzed the history of the diaphonization method, its advantages and disadvantages. Its advantages include the ability to study the internal anatomy without destroying the object, detailing structures, preserving samples for further research, and the possibility of combining with other modern research methods.

We assessed the level of transcriptional activity of APAF1, BAX, BCL2, BIRC5, CCND1, DAPK1, MCL1, and MYC genes encoding products that control apoptosis in the samples of tissues affected by vulvar lichen sclerosus and adjacent control tissues (n=24). Analysis of transcriptional activity was performed by real-time PCR using specific primers and SYBR Green intercalating dye.

Background: For mobile app-based COVID-19 contact tracing to be fully effective, a large majority of the population needs to be using the app on an ongoing basis. However, there is a paucity of studies of users, as opposed to potential adopters, of mobile contact tracing apps and of their experiences. New Zealand, a high-income country with western political culture, was successful in managing the COVID-19 pandemic, and its experience is valuable for informing policy responses in similar contexts.

High concentrations of PPARs are found in parts of the brain linked to anxiety development, including hippocampus and amygdala. Among three PPAR isoforms, PPARG demonstrates the highest expression in CNS, where it can be found in neurons, astrocytes, and glial cells.

(2) Methods: We used PathwayStudio 12.3 (Elsivier, Netherlands) to acquire literature data for further manual review and analysis.
