[General of the Army N F Vatutin: history of wounding].

The article presents an extended information from different archive channels about falling ill with tularemia in December 1942 and about missile wound in thigh in February 1944 by General of the Army N.F.Vatutin, who was at that time the commander-in-chief of South-West theater of operations, and then of the 1st Ukrainian one.

[Variation cardiac intervalometry -- a component of neurophysiological monitoring].

The course of intraoperative period is retrospectively analyzed in patients operated on for bulky formations of the brain. Mathematical analysis of cardiac rhythm structure, performed using an original method within the framework of operation monitoring, detected early signs of disorders in adaptation systems, indicative of insufficient anesthesia and overrun physiological permissiveness during the main stages of operation. The results of the study extend our notions on the potentialities of traditional monitoring and improve the efficiency of neuroanesthesiological support and choice of surgical strategy.

[Anesthesiological support, postoperative care and the results of the surgical treatment of patients with tumors of the base of the posterior cranial fossa].

Problems of anesthesiological maintenance, measures of the postoperative management and results of surgical treatment of 76 patients with an oncological process on the base of the posterior cranial fossa are discussed. An analysis of informative-regulatory and adaptational reactions of organism is made on the basis of the intervalogram in the course of operative interventions near by the cerebral trunk. The results are estimated.
