The tissue preparations of the pelvic veins obtained during laparoscopy were examined. The expression of markers of proliferation (Ki-67), apoptosis (p53), and angiogenesis (CD31, CD34), as well as estrogen and progesterone receptors in women with pelvic varicose veins was assessed by the immunohistochemical method. A decrease in the median expression of the proliferation marker (Ki-67) and estrogen and progesterone receptors and simultaneous increase in the expression of apoptosis marker (p53) and activation of angiogenesis processes (markers CD31 and CD34) were observed with increasing the severity of the disease.

By reacting a series of 2,6-diacetylpyridine bis-hydrazones containing pyrimidine (H2L1), benzimidazole (H2L2) and phthalazine (H2L3) heterocyclic fragments with copper(II) chloride and bromide, a variety of pentacoordinated complexes of the composition , and , where X = Cl, Br, are formed. The properties and structure of the compounds were studied by means of NMR, IR, UV-vis, ESR, and X-ray absorption spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry and X-Ray single crystal diffraction methods. It was shown that complexes of the cationic type have an asymmetric structure with a distorted square-pyramidal geometry of the coordination unit.

Pelvic venous disorder (PVD) in women is a polyetiological multifactorial disease characterized by a high prevalence (up to 80%), a high risk of infertility, and a progressive recurrent course. Morphological changes of the venous bed occur in PVD, contributing to retrograde blood flow and pelvic phlebohypertension. It is occur due to dynamic hypervolemia and hypertension long-term exposure on the venous wall.

Novel pyrene-based double aza- and diaza[4]helicenes have been prepared through a five-step synthetic sequence in overall good yields. Commercially available 2,3-dihaloazines (2,3-dibromopyridine, 2,3-dichloropyrazine and 2,3-dichloroquinoxaline) were used as starting materials. The synthesis employs electrophile-induced cyclizations of -alkynyl bihetaryls as the key steps, leading to the formation of a helical skeleton.

A promising area in the analytical chemistry of thiol-containing compounds is the use of heterocyclic disulfides as analytical agents, but now only a few of them are widely used. In this paper, we evaluate the possibility of using three different heterocyclic disulfides 2,2'-dithiobis[5-phenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole] (I), 2,2'-dithiobis[benzoxazole] (II) and 8,8'-dithiobis-quinoline (III) as analytical reagents for the low-mass aminothiols cysteine and glutathione determination. The optimal analysis conditions were found.
