Objective: The extent of resection (EOR) and postoperative residual tumor (RT) volume are prognostic factors in glioblastoma. Calculations of EOR and RT rely on accurate tumor segmentations. Raidionics is an open-access software that enables automatic segmentation of preoperative and early postoperative glioblastoma using pretrained deep learning models.

Yet, bulk isotopic approaches have limitations, notably from the potential overlap of isotope values from different dietary sources and from spatial variation in source (baseline) signals. Here, we explore the potential of fatty acid carbon isotopes (FA δC) to (1) evaluate the trophic structure of a marine food web, (2) distinguish feeding patterns among four marine mammal consumers, (3) trace contaminant biomagnification through a food web, and (4) explain interspecific variation in contaminants among high-trophic position predators.

Objective: To investigate the prevalence and patterns of hypertension diagnosis and management in adult patients with TS who are registered in a large international multicentre database (TS-HTN study).
Methods: Retrospective multi-centre observational study of patients aged ≥18 years, included in the I-TS (International-TS) registry (2020-2022) utilising registry and participating centre collected data.
The recent expansion of mpox in Africa is characterized by a dramatic increase in zoonotic transmission (clade Ia) and the emergence of a new clade Ib that is transmitted from human-to-human (H2H) by close contact. Clade Ia does not pose a threat in areas without zoonotic reservoir. But clade Ib may spread widely, as did the clade IIb that since 2022 has spread globally among MSM.

While blood samples are most commonly investigated due to their moderate ease of collection and high information content, other biological fluids such as cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and urine are highly relevant for specific pathologies, such as brain and urologic diseases, respectively. Independently of the biofluid of interest, platforms that can robustly handle a large number of samples are essential in the discovery phase of a clinical study.
