Novel therapeutic strategies are needed to improve the efficacy of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells as a treatment of solid tumors. Multiple tumor microenvironmental factors are thought to contribute to resistance to CAR T-cell therapy in solid tumors, and appropriate model systems to identify and examine these factors using clinically relevant biospecimens are limited. In this study, we examined the activity of B7-H3-directed CAR T cells (B7-H3.

Using electrospinning, the architecture of tumor-associated collagen signatures (TACS5 and TACS6) was mimicked. By employing a rotating cylinder or static plate collector set-up, aligned fibers (TACS5-like structures) and randomly orientated fibers (TACS6-like structures) fibers were produced, respectively.

Objective: This study aimed to explore changes in social isolation and their associations with PD symptoms using the Lubben Social Network Scale-Revised (LSNS-R).
Methods: Data from 80 participants of the Early Parkinson's Disease Longitudinal Singapore cohort were collected from April 2019 to April 2023, covering the periods before and after the imposition of COVID-19 restrictions.
High-energy nuclear collisions create a quark-gluon plasma, whose initial condition and subsequent expansion vary from event to event, impacting the distribution of the eventwise average transverse momentum [P([p_{T}])]. Disentangling the contributions from fluctuations in the nuclear overlap size (geometrical component) and other sources at a fixed size (intrinsic component) remains a challenge. This problem is addressed by measuring the mean, variance, and skewness of P([p_{T}]) in ^{208}Pb+^{208}Pb and ^{129}Xe+^{129}Xe collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.

It classically presents as a malignant effusion in body cavities, but rarely presents with an extracavitary variant characterized by solid tumors in lymph nodes or extranodal sites such as the gastrointestinal tract, skin, lungs, and nervous system. This case report describes an unusual presentation of primary cutaneous extracavitary PEL in an HIV-positive patient that has only been reported in 8 cases previously.
