[Salmonellosis and concomitant yersiniosis].

Clinical description of salmonellosis and concomitant yersiniosis in 6 women aged 26-50 years infected from a common source is presented. They were members of a group of 65 women suffering alimentary intoxication the source of which was supposed to be either light-salted salmon or vegetable salad. The incubation period varied from 4 to 12 hours.

[About combined forms of dysentery and salmonellosis].

In Moscow, acute infectious diseases constitute more than 30% of all infectious pathology of adult population. Such combined forms as a combination of shigellosis and salmonellosis exist along with monoinfections. Addition of salmonellosis to dysentery does not necessarily worsen the course of the latter and in some cases does not express itself clinically.

[The oribates (Oribatei) in the feathers of birds].

The authors confirm the fact of disperiosn of oribate mites by birds, that was earlier noticed in acarological references. More than 400 individuals of 53 virds species belonging to different ecological groups have been examined. About 50 species alive oribates were collected in bird feathers: Liochthonius sellnicki, Brachychthonius sp.
