The carried out research of vitamin C status of 250 young people 17-20 years old constantly living in region of the periodic radioactive control of the Gomel region of Republic Byelorussia have shown, that in the spring the vitamin C deficiency is observed at more than 55% examined, and autumn this parameter is reduced approximately on 20%. The vitamin C provision of the women is slightly higher, than one of men. The vitaminization of the population within 1 month by polyvitaminic complexes results in twofold reduction of number examined with vitamin deficiency.

A high of easily obtainable cross-bows was pointed out in an experiment. In the same time, an experience from foreign papers was verified that injuries caused by arrows with a head for target shooting can imitate the gun shot injuries. Because of their rate increasing in connection with accesibility of cross-bows these injuries need to be recognized and described more precisely.

In a group of 40 cerebral contusions with a different period of survival by histological and histochemical methods changes in the contusion foci and their surroundings were assessed. The authors compared their own findings with those of other authors. Their finding of leucostasis and incipient leucodiapedesis was found in cerebral contusions with 7 hours survival.

Reaction at the site of pacemaker electrode was examined at post-mortem by morphological and histological means in a group of 18 deceased patients with pacemakers implanted through the endovasal channels. The changes were classified into 5 basic types depending on their nature and rate of incidence: changes in the endocardium (connective tissue bridging of the electrode, and changes in the tricuspid valve) and in the myocardium (electrode penetration, reaction under the tip of the electrode, and no changes). The particular types occurred either independently of each other, in in mutual combination.
