Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are the main cause of death worldwide. A broad study of the pathogenetic mechanisms of the CVD onset and progression has led to understanding of the importance of endothelial dysfunction (ED) in these processes. During recent years intensive work has been conducted in the direction of searching for markers of ED.
