We study the effects of magnetisation on the properties of the doped topological insulator of theBi2Se3family with nematic superconductivity. We found that the direction of the in-plane magnetisation fixes the direction of the nematicity in the system. The chiral state is more favourable than the nematic state for large values of out-of-plane magnetisation.

A new upstream activating sequence (UAS) 5'-GGTGGCAAA-3' was detected in the promoters of 27 out of the 33 proteasomal genes and of several genes related to the ubiquitin-proteasomal system of Saccharomices cerevisiae. The sequence was termed proteasome-associated control element (PACE). Gel retardation assay revealed specific binding of PACE with an extracted protein.

We describe here a possible mechanism for non-random arrangement of nucleosomes along genomic DNA by short stretches of uncurved DNA. Available biochemical data on nucleosome positioning on different DNA sequences were analyzed. A strong correlation between location of nucleosome borders and location of uncurved sequences along DNA was observed.
