The scope of information interaction between patients, medical organizations and regulatory authorities is regulated by a large number of legislative and regulatory documents, a number of which are discussed in this article. The quality of information interaction in the Russian Federation is assessed within the framework of internal quality control and safety of medical activities. At the same time, the analysis of court cases related to poor-quality dental care over 6 years allowed the authors to identify a large proportion of patient complaints about the quality of information interaction between patients and medical organizations.
