An overview of various cell engineering techniques being developed for modern conservative and reconstructive periodontology is presented. The accelerated development of cellular engineering technologies poses to medicine and, in particular, periodontics, the task of early implementation of the results of such experiments into patient management protocols. The main groups of promising techniques that are closest to practical healthcare are: isolation and use of stem cells; synthesis of biologically active (inductive) signaling molecules; development of scaffolds that ensure three-dimensional tissue growth.

Detergents and disinfectants for dairy industry must meet a variety of characteristics, including low toxicity, high antibacterial activity, and excellent rinsing of pollutants from working surfaces. This work presents an innovative detergent-disinfectant agent based on whey mineralizate and silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs), which allows reducing production costs and ensuring high cleanliness of treated surfaces compared to analogues. For this purpose, a method for obtaining sols of Ag NPs stabilized with didecyldimethylammonium bromide (Ag NPs-DDAB) was developed and optimized using neural network algorithms.

Article Synopsis
  • - The wild soybean Glycine soja is an ancestor of the cultivated soybean and contains valuable genes for stress resistance that are not found in cultivated varieties.
  • - Five accessions of G. soja were studied for biochemical properties, revealing that KA-1413 had higher protein and beneficial fatty acid content, along with favorable enzyme activities compared to others.
  • - KA-1413 is recommended for breeding programs to enhance the adaptability of new soybean varieties, as it exhibits significant genetic diversity and potential markers for adaptation to environmental challenges.
