[Renal protective effects of calcium antagonists].

Calcium antagonists (C-A) induce different, renal hemodynamic alterations. They reduce afferent arteriolar resistance and do not change glomerular filtration rate. C-A prevent acute renal failure, especially after kidney transplantation.
