Various dietary supplements have been shown to extend the life span of , including several that promote autophagy, such as rapamycin and spermidine. The goal of the study presented here was to test numerous additional potential anti-aging supplements, primarily inhibitors of the target of rapamycin (TOR) and/or phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K). Using a single, comparatively long-lived test strain, screening was performed in male flies supplemented either throughout adulthood or, in a few cases, beginning in middle or late adult life, with concentrations spanning 4-6 orders of magnitude in most cases.

IMPAACT2015 enrolled AYAPHIV on suppressive antiretroviral therapy (ART) with cognitive impairment to detect and quantify HIV in blood and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).

Background: Long-acting injectable cabotegravir and rilpivirine have demonstrated safety, acceptability, and efficacy in adults living with HIV-1. The IMPAACT 2017 study (MOCHA study) was the first to use these injectable formulations in adolescents (aged 12-17 years) living with HIV-1. Herein, we report acceptability and tolerability outcomes in cohort 1 of the study.

In response, the simulation team reinvented their role to provide extensive support in the Jesuit pedagogical tradition. These self-titled "simulation doulas" removed all nonteaching tasks from faculty, remained available for questions and concerns, and became experts on the simulation platforms.

Mechanical alloying has gained special attention as a powerful non-equilibrium process for fabricating amorphous and nanocrystalline materials, whereas spark plasma sintering (SPS) is a unique technique for processing dense and near net shape bulk alloys with homogenous microstructure. TiC reinforcement varied from 5 to 50 wt.
