As an alternative to flat architectures, clustering architectures are designed to minimize the total energy consumption of sensor networks. Nonetheless, sensor nodes experience increased energy consumption during data transmission, leading to a rapid depletion of energy levels as data are routed towards the base station. Although numerous strategies have been developed to address these challenges and enhance the energy efficiency of networks, the formulation of a clustering-based routing algorithm that achieves both high energy efficiency and increased packet transmission rate for large-scale sensor networks remains an NP-hard problem.

This study aimed to determine the prevalence of intestinal helminth parasitic infections and associated risk factors for the human infection among the people of Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Infection status of helminths including Echinococcus granulosus was surveyed in domestic and wild animals from 4 sites in the Samarkand region, Uzbekistan during 2015-2018. Fecal samples of each animal were examined with the formalin-ether sedimentation technique and the recovery of intestinal helminths was performed with naked eyes and a stereomicroscope in total 1,761 animals (1,755 dogs, 1 golden jackal, and 5 Corsac foxes).

The authors have analyzed results of treatment of 189 children aged from 6 months to 3 years and older, using different variants of operations. It was shown that positive immediate and long-term results in patients with high and mean forms of anorectal diseases were obtained after posteriorsagittal and abdomino-posteriorsagittal anoplasty.

The results of treatment of 175 children with a septicopyemic form of acute hematogenous osteomyelitis were analyzed. A method of surgical treatment using an original device for osteopuncture and intraosseous infusions was introduced in the clinic with regard to the results of studying morphological features of changes in the contents of the intramedullary canal. This surgical strategy allowed shortening the period of hospital treatment, reduction of the number of complications and avoidance of lethal outcomes of children with the septicopyemic form of the disease.
