HPV-driven oropharyngeal cancer burden in Paris and its region (ILE DE FRANCE) from 1981 TO 2021.

Background: France has the sixth highest incidence of oropharyngeal cancer (OPC) in Europe, but the epidemiological impact of high-risk HPV (HR-HPV) remains poorly documented. The objective of our study was to assess the proportion of OPCs caused by HR-HPV in Paris, and its suburbs, over the four past decades. This area accounts for almost one-fifth of the total population of France.

Varying ENT practices in adult post-intubation laryngotracheal stenosis after the COVID epidemic in France: A CHERRIES analysis.

Aim: The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic may increase the incidence of iatrogenic laryngotracheal stenosis (LTS), whereas management is not well defined. The aim of this study was to survey a panel of French otorhinolaryngologists about their practices and to evaluate their needs.

Method: A national-level survey of the management of iatrogenic LTS was conducted using a 41-item questionnaire, in 4 sections, sent to a panel of French otorhinolaryngologists between July and December 2022.

Prognostic Analysis of HPV Status in Sinonasal Squamous Cell Carcinoma.

Sinonasal squamous cell carcinoma (SNSCC) is a rare and aggressive malignancy with poor prognosis. Human papilloma virus (HPV) can induce SNSCC although its incidence and impact on patients’ outcomes remains unclear. We performed a retrospective cohort study of patients with SNSCC treated consecutively in a comprehensive cancer center.

Cyclosporin A (CsA) is an immunosuppressive agent used to prevent graft rejection and to treat autoimmune disorders. Successful pregnancies can be achieved among CsA-treated women, although it is known that CsA is nephrotoxic and crosses the human placenta. The aim of this study was to evaluate the harmlessness of CsA toward the embryonic kidney.
