Objectives: To determine the association of housing items and amenities with psychological wellbeing (PWB) and their relationship with all-cause and cardiovascular disease (CVD) mortality.

Methods: This study was based on the framework of the HAPIEE study. Data from the Lithuanian Mortality Register were used to evaluate CVD and all-cause mortality from baseline survey (2006-2008) till 2023.

Contralateral A1 and AComA aplasia/hypoplasia are critically important in distal ICA T occlusion as the protective collateral blood supply from the circle of Willis via the anterior communicating artery is compromised. Although the terms aplasia/hypoplasia are used broadly in the literature, the need for concrete measurements and data on their clinical significance is apparent. Features of the individual anatomy of the circle of Willis may determine patient outcomes.

Background: This study investigates the association between frailty and mortality in Eastern European populations, which remains largely unexplored compared with Western Europe. The aim is to assess the risk of all-cause and cardiovascular mortality associated with varying levels of frailty.

Methods: A prospective multicentre cohort study was conducted, involving random population samples from the Czech Republic, Poland and Lithuania.

Aims: The 2021 European Society of Cardiology prevention guidelines recommend the use of (lifetime) risk prediction models to aid decisions regarding initiation of prevention. We aimed to update and systematically recalibrate the LIFEtime-perspective CardioVascular Disease (LIFE-CVD) model to four European risk regions for the estimation of lifetime CVD risk for apparently healthy individuals.

Methods And Results: The updated LIFE-CVD (i.

The shortest distance around the Universe through us is unlikely to be much larger than the horizon diameter if microwave background anomalies are due to cosmic topology. We show that observational constraints from the lack of matched temperature circles in the microwave background leave many possibilities for such topologies. We evaluate the detectability of microwave background multipole correlations for sample cases.
