[Protein component in therapeutic effect of electric current].

Literature data and authors' own observation on the role of albumin in realization of curative effect of electric current are summarized in the article. Electric current action on albumin leads to physical and chemical changes (conformational ones, membrane process are also involved, development of free forms of biologically active substances) and biochemical changes (enzymes activity, lipid peroxidation). It furthers the normalization of function of body organs and systems.

[Clinical and experimental aspects of influence of ultrasound on tissue regeneration].

The article summarizes literature and own obtained data on influence of low intensity ultrasound on tissue regeneration. Improvement of tissue regeneration is directly caused by influence of ultrasound on albumin, chondrocytes, intensity of DNA synthesis, immune system function. An important aspect of ultrasound action is its antioxidant effect.

[Clinical and experimental aspects of the treatment effect of laser irradiation].

The article summarizes literature data and results of the authors' studies on clinical experimental aspects of the treatment effect of laser emission. The literature shows that among different therapeutic effects of laser emission, the most studied are neurotropic, methabolic, immunomodulating, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory as well as its ability to stimulate the regeneration of wounds and bones. The authors stressed on biostimulative effect of laser therapy.

[Morphofunctional changes of coccyx area in posttraumatic coccygodynia].

For definition of a pathogenesis ofposttraumatic coccygodynia, a study of morpho-functional changes of the structures of coccyx's area was organized. The preparations of coccyx, removed during operative intervention from 23 different-aged patients with manifestations of disease were analyzed by roentgen, histological technique and a submicroscopy. In a cartilaginous tissue from patients with posttraumatic coccygodynia, dystrophic changes of chondrocytes down to their atrophy, a destruction of the basic material with partial replacement of a fibrillar cartilaginous tissue with a hyaline cartilage were observed with a different degree of manifestation.
