Evidence of chirality was observed at the Fe metal center in Fe(III) spin crossover coordination salts [Fe(qsal)][Ni(dmit)] and [Fe(qsal)](TCNQ)from x-ray absorption (XAS) spectroscopy at the Fe 2pcore threshold. Based on the circularly polarized XAS data, the x-ray natural circular dichroism for [Fe(qsal)][Ni(dmit)] and [Fe(qsal)](TCNQ)is far stronger than seen for [Fe(qsal)]Cl suggesting this natural circular dichroism signature is a ligand effect rather than a result of just a loss of octahedral symmetry on the Fe core. The larger the chiral effects in the Fe 2p core to bound XAS, the greater the perturbation of the Fe 2pto 2pspin-orbit splitting seen in the XAS spectra.

Diagnosing TTE can be challenging due to its rarity and unusual presentation.
Case Presentation: The authors present a case of a male in his 50s who was diagnosed with left transverse testicular ectopia after presenting with an empty right hemiscrotum and two testes-like masses in the left hemiscrotum.
Purpose: To evaluate and compare optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) retinal vasculature measurements in healthy, glaucoma suspect (GS), and glaucoma patients.
Methods: One hundred fourteen eyes with good quality OCTA pictures were included from 38 healthy, 38 GS, 38 and primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) participants. The information on retinal vasculature was summarized as a vessel density map and as vessel density (%), which is the fraction of the flowing vessel area over the total area examined.
Introduction: We aimed to evaluate the relationship between preexisting chronic pain and acute postoperative pain after laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) and to identify predictors of acute postsurgery pain.
Methods: In this prospective cohort study, patients undergoing LC with general anesthesia were enrolled. The primary outcome was the incidence of moderate-to-severe pain during movement in the first 24 hours after surgery.
