Objective: To characterize long-term feeding outcomes in infants who underwent tracheostomy prior to their first birthday.

Study Design: Retrospective review of feeding outcomes at initial hospital discharge and age 5 in a cohort of infants who underwent tracheostomy at a children's hospital over a 16-year period.

Results: 145 infants met inclusion criteria.

Severe Anaphylaxis From Remimazolam in a Mastocytosis Cancer Patient: A Case Report.

Remimazolam besylate is a novel, rapid-onset, ultra-short-acting benzodiazepine with an advantageous cardio-respiratory safety profile. To date, there have been few published reports of remimazolam-induced anaphylaxis, none of which are documented in patients with mast cell disease. We describe the case of a 77-year-old male with oncologic mastocytosis who developed anaphylaxis following remimazolam administration.

Evaluating Sleep Challenges in Hospitalized Youth.

Objective: To characterize sleep quality and sleep disruptions among youth hospitalized outside of the intensive care unit (ICU).

Patients And Methods: Participants were eligible for the survey-based study if they were 8-17 years old, English-speaking, hospitalized for ≥3 days outside of the ICU, and developmentally able to understand surveys. Survey administration included a sleep diary, the Epworth Sleepiness Scale for Children and Adolescents (ESS-CHAD), and a study-specific Inpatient Sleep Disruptors Questionnaire.
