Coronary stent fracture is an infrequent event, with an incidence ranging from 1% to 8%. In rare cases, this complication may result in acute occlusion of the affected coronary artery. We report the case of a patient who experienced acute coronary syndrome following a stent fracture implanted 3 years previously.

We investigated the mid- to long-term outcomes and their predictors in CRT patients aged ≥ 75 years.
Methods: Patients in the Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Modular (CRT MORE) Registry were divided into three age-groups: <65 (group A), 65-74 (group B) and ≥75 years (group C).

- A study at the University Hospital of Parma analyzed 59 patients who received implant-assisted LDMF reconstruction after salvage mastectomy for recurrent breast cancer; results showed low complication rates and good aesthetic outcomes.
- The procedure resulted in effective pain control, minimal functional impairment, and high satisfaction rates; thus, LDMF may be a preferred reconstruction option for patients ineligible for free-flap techniques.
The stricter criteria for Class I CRT indication suggested by the 2016 ESC Guidelines reliably exclude patients with a worse prognosis in comparison with the 2013 ESC indication criteria.

Background: The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Guidelines published in 2016 modified indications for cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) in comparison with the 2013 ESC Guidelines. The aim of this analysis was to evaluate the impact of the stricter criteria suggested by the 2016 ESC Guidelines on patient outcome in a real-world population.
Methods: We collected data on 930 consecutive patients with complete outcome information who had undergone CRT implantation from 2011 to 2013 from the CRT-MORE registry.
Background: The azygos anterior cerebral artery (ACA) is an uncommon intracranial vascular anomaly of the circle of Willis. Identification of aneurysm from azygos ACA with anterior falcine meningioma is an extremely rare association. The aim of the present study is to report the case of an adult female with a ruptured aneurysm from azygos ACA in association with an anterior falcine meningioma.
