Leiomyosarcoma (LMS) is a rare smooth muscle tumor, and only a few cases have been reported with involvement of the inferior vena cava (IVC). Inferior vena cava LMS is more often silent and usually has a poor prognosis as the patients present late. We present this case series to showcase the different approaches to surgical resection, as each tumor had a different location in the IVC.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFA label free electrochemical detection method for the rapid detection of recombinant human erythropoietin (rhuEPO) has been developed. In this method, we modified the rhuEPO structure for its direct sensing without using a complex signal amplification strategy. The protein was selectively extracted from blood plasma sample using target-specific magnetic beads.

The quantification limit of PSI-6206 by SERS was found to be 13ngL (R value=0.959, RSD=5.

However, MP-11 always tends to aggregate in both solution and on surface and eventually forms the 6-coordinated heme. Thus, the present study investigates the immobilization strategy of MP-11 on nanoparticle surface in order to generate monomeric 5-coordinated MP-11 and make them as an efficient biocatalyst.
