In-situ restructuring of Ni-based metal organic frameworks for photocatalytic CO hydrogenation.

As the global quest for sustainable energy keeps rising, exploring novel efficient and practical photocatalysts remains a research and industrial urge. Particularly, metal organic frameworks were proven to contribute to various stages of the carbon cycle, from CO capture to its conversion. Herein, we report the photo-methanation activity of three isostructural, nickel-based metal organic frameworks incorporating additional niobium, iron, and aluminum sites, having demonstrated exceptional CO capture abilities from thin air in previous reports.

Background And Hypothesis: Teclistamab, a novel bispecific monoclonal antibody targeting CD3 and B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), and chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy are promising options for treating relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (MM). However, the rates of acute kidney injury (AKI) associated with teclistamab remain inadequately characterized. This study aims to compare the incidence, severity, and outcomes of AKI between patients receiving teclistamab and CAR-T therapy.

Background: Evidence suggests that controls on the physical and temporal availability of alcohol can reduce alcohol-related harms. Public health teams in England and Scotland have in recent years been given a statutory role in licensing systems through which premises are granted permits to sell alcohol. The Exploring the Impact of alcohol premises Licensing in England and Scotland study examined public health team efforts to engage in alcohol licensing from 2012 to 2019.

Evaluation of objective methods for analyzing ipsilateral motor evoked potentials in stroke survivors with chronic upper extremity motor impairment.

Ipsilateral motor evoked potentials (iMEPs) are believed to represent cortically evoked excitability of uncrossed brainstem-mediated pathways. In the event of extensive injury to (crossed) corticospinal pathways, which can occur following a stroke, uncrossed ipsilateral pathways may serve as an alternate resource to support the recovery of the paretic limb. However, iMEPs, even in neurally intact people, can be small, infrequent, and noisy, so discerning them in stroke survivors is very challenging.
