Previous research has shown a robust association between different childhood and adolescent vulnerabilities and youth offending. However, these investigations have primarily focused on youths from high-income Western countries. Consequently, the generalizability of these findings to better inform global justice policies remains uncertain.

Students who experience better sleep quality and have good mental health will exhibit higher academic performance compared to those who have reduced sleep quality and poor psychological health.
Objective: To assess the relation between mental health problems, sleep quality, and academic performance among medical students in the stage of clinical training at the University of Fallujah, Iraq.
Background: Adverse childhood experiences is considered as major risk factor for several health problems and diseases during adulthood, such as hypertension, IHD, and eating disorders. The aim of current study was to measure the association between ACEs and malnutrition symptoms among sample of medical students in Fallujah University.
Methods: A convenience sample was used to recruit the participants; the data collection was carried out during December 2022.
Background: In homozygous β-thalassemia, the primary genetic modifiers affecting the clinical severity of β-thalassemia are genetic variants and the ability to reduce globin chain imbalance, thus resulting in a milder form of thalassemia. However, there are few reports on the molecular genetics of β-thalassemia in Iraq.
Methods: We performed PCR and DNA sequencing on 40 Iraqi patients who were clinically suspected of having β-thalassemia.
Objective: Several methods for synthesizing 2-thiohydantoin derivatives have been devised and exploited, and they have found widespread application as antioxidants, antimicrobials, antivirals, and anticancer agents. As a result, we tried to understand the underlying processes of the 2- thiohydantoin derivative's anti-LIHC activity.
Methods: We predicted the anticancer mechanism of N-(4-oxo-5-(2-oxo-2-(p-tolylamino)ethyl)-3- phenyl-2-thioxoimidazolidin-1-yl)benzamide as a derivative of 2-thiohydantoin by utilizing molecular docking and molecular dynamic simulation.
