Navigating New Territories: A Systematic Review of the Transition Experiences of International Medical Graduates in English-Speaking Countries.

Objectives: To summarize the evidence related to the experiences and challenges of International Medical Graduates (IMGs) in healthcare systems of English-speaking countries.

Methods: Following the PRISMA statement, we searched MEDLINE and EMBASE for all peer-reviewed articles using keywords including "international medical graduates," "foreign medical graduates," or "transition," from their inception to December 21st, 2022.

Results: In this review, we included 20 articles, comprising 17 descriptive studies and three quasi-experimental studies.

Prior studies have shown that head and upper extremity injuries have risen with SMP adoption, yet data on helmet use remains sparse.

Xixin Decoction May Treat VaD by Modulating the NPTX2/C1q/C3 Complement Pathway.

Vascular dementia (VaD) is a type of dementia that results from brain injury caused by cerebrovascular disease or vascular risk factors. Accumulating evidence from clinical studies has found that Xixin decoction can effectively improve the cognitive function of patients with VaD and improve their daily living ability. However, the pathogenesis of VaD is not fully understood, and the therapeutic mechanism of Xixin decoction is also unclear.
