This matched case-control study compares long-term employment status of chaplains at a healthcare system headquartered in Florida based on participation and non-participation in a well-being workshop. A Kaplan-Meier curve illustrated separation rates between those who participated in the workshops and matched controls who did not in the 30 months during and after the intervention. This paper provides evidence for return on investment for initiatives to support chaplain well-being by avoidance of turnover costs.

A process evaluation will be conducted alongside the clinical trial to understand: (1) the implementation of the 3TLA intervention in the trial sites, including barriers and enablers, and (2) the mechanisms through which the 3TLA intervention produces change. This protocol paper describes the rationale, aims and methods of the 3TLA process evaluation.

This study investigated the effectiveness of Artificial Floating Islands (AFIs) as a phytoremediation technology to address this issue. We constructed and monitored a field-scale AFI system in the equalization basin of a wastewater treatment plant for preliminary treatment of residential raw sewage.

This work aims to improve the methods to identify and independently quantify different pathways of SGD by combining direct measurements through seepage meters and Amphibious Electrical Resistivity Tomography (AERT) at a heterogeneous karstic system in the Mediterranean Sea. The integrated approach identified and quantified distinct SGD pathways, including beach-face recirculation, focused discharge zones, submarine springs, and diffusive discharge, each uniquely influencing SGD dynamics.
