Prognostic gene expression and microRNA profiling signatures and genetic alterations in primary testicular diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

Primary testicular diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (PT-DLBCL) is a rare and aggressive lymphoma with molecular heterogeneity not well characterize. In this study, we performed next-generation sequencing analysis for a large number of DNA and RNA samples from patients with PT-DLBCL. DNA sequencing analysis identified ≥ 3 chromosomes with copy number variations (CNVs) and microsatellite instability as prognostic biomarkers, rather than mutations and genetic subtypes.

NHC-Based Deep-Red Phosphorescent Iridium Complexes Featuring Three-Charge (0, -1, -2) Ligands.

N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC)-based phosphorescent iridium complexes have attracted extensive attention due to their good optical properties and high stability in recent years. However, currently reported NHC-based iridium complexes can easily achieve emission of blue, green, or even ultraviolet light, while emission of red or deep-red light is relatively rare. Here, we report a new family of NHC-based deep-red iridium complexes (Ir1, Ir2, Ir3, and Ir4) featuring three-charge (0, -1, -2) ligands.

Construction of 2D CoFe-MOF derived from LDH electrocatalyst for efficient oxygen and urea evolution.

Two-dimensional metal-organic framework (2D MOF) materials have significant development prospects in the technology of urea-assisted water electrolysis for hydrogen production. However, the poor conductivity, low mass permeability, and stability have limited their development in electrocatalysis. Here, CoFe-BDC is synthesized using layered double hydroxides (LDH) as the template.

Identification of key antifibrotic targets FPR1, TAS2R5, and LRP2BP of valsartan in diabetic nephropathy: A transcriptomics-driven study integrating machine learning, molecular docking, and dynamics simulations.

Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is a major complication of diabetes and a leading cause of renal failure. While valsartan has been shown to alleviate DN clinically, its antifibrotic mechanisms require further investigation. This study used a transcriptomics-driven approach, integrating in vitro, Machine Learning, molecular docking, dynamics simulations and RT-qCPR to identify key antifibrotic targets.

The Role of Patient-Controlled Epidural Analgesia in the Short-Term Outcomes of Laparoscopic-Assisted Gastrectomy in Elderly Gastric Cancer Patients.

Introduction: Patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) and patient-controlled epidural analgesia (PCEA) constitute two major advances in pain management after major abdominal surgery. However, the role of PCIA or PCEA has not been particularly studied in elderly patients with gastric cancer. The aim of this study is to make a comparison between PCIA and PCEA in terms of their performance on short-term outcomes in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic-assisted gastrectomy.
