Background: Propanil toxicity is characterised by severe prolonged methaemoglobinaemia, cyanosis, acidosis, and progressive end-organ dysfunction. studies report propanil-induced kidney toxicity, which has not been studied clinically. This study determined the incidence of acute kidney injury and of methaemoglobinaemia after propanil self-poisoning and reported the diagnostic performance of novel and traditional biomarkers of acute kidney injury.

In this study, we present a novel intelligent computing framework based on unsupervised random projection neural networks for analyzing the within-host transmission dynamics of the Chikungunya virus with an adaptive immune response. In addition to the fundamental analysis of the model, we perform comprehensive simulations under varying initial conditions to explore the dynamics in both the virus-free and endemic states. The proposed method is compared with existing numerical techniques in terms of absolute errors for different cases, considering different suitable initial values of the state variables.

Backgrounds And Aims: Pregnant women and children are not included in Egypt's hepatitis C virus (HCV) elimination programmes. This study assesses the cost-effectiveness of several screening and treatment strategies for pregnant women and infants in Egypt.

Design: A Markov model was developed to simulate the cascade of care and HCV disease progression among pregnant women and their infants according to different screening and treatment strategies, which included: targeted versus universal antenatal screening; treatment of women in pregnancy or deferred till after breast feeding; treatment of infected children at 3 years vs 12 years.

A novel Zinc-Tellurite borosilicate (ZTBS) glass system was successfully synthesized via the melt quench process. Its chemical composition is represented by the formula (44SiO-25BO-18NaO-6CaO-1ZrO-(6-x)ZnO-xTeO), and its weight fraction (x = 0, 2, 4, 6 wt%). The shielding properties, there is perfect agreement between the results of the theoretical calculation of the mass attenuation coefficient using the Phy-X/PSD and the compatible values derived from the WinXCom databases.
