This research investigates the formulation of a nanogel complex using pectin and poly(acrylic acid) (PAAc) to encapsulate rutin. The nanogel's pH-responsive behavior and its potential as a targeted drug delivery platform are investigated. The gamma irradiation-induced crosslinking mechanism is elucidated, highlighting its role in creating a stable three-dimensional network structure within the polymer matrix.

Yeast feed additives present a natural approach for mitigating ruminal greenhouse gases (GHG) in an environmentally sustainable manner. This study aimed to isolate yeast strains from ruminal fluids capable of reducing GHG from Aflatoxin (AFB1) contaminated diets. Two isolates of Pichia manchuria (FFNLYFC1 and FFNLYFC2) were isolated and identified from the ruminal contents of dairy Zaraibi goats.

The ongoing global threat posed by coronaviruses necessitates the urgent development of effective antiviral agents. In this study, we investigated the potential of hydroxyquinoline-pyrazole candidates as antiviral agents against a range of coronaviruses, including SARS-CoV-2, MERS-CoV, and HCoV-229E. Molecular docking studies were conducted to assess the binding affinity of the synthesized compounds to key viral proteins.

Time of flight is promising technology in machine vision and sensing, with an emerging need for low power consumption, a high image resolution, and reliable operation in high ambient light conditions. Therefore, we propose a novel direct time-of-flight pixel using the single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) sensor, with an in-pixel averaging method to suppress ambient light and detect the laser pulse arrival time. The system utilizes two orthogonal sinusoidal signals applied to the pixel as inputs, which are synchronized with a pulsed laser source.
