[Modern ways of actualisation of military formulary system].

Authors presented a historical summary about formation and development of military formulary system and quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the fifth edition of the Drug formulary. The new Drug formulary is a list of drugs developed on the basis of multi-criteria choice of optimal alternatives according clinical and pharmacoeconomic effectiveness, costs with due regard to possible pharmacological support for troops. The fifth edition of the Drug Formulary fully covers medical and social demands of military servicemen, of military retirees and members of their families for the effective drugs during the treatment of socially important and common aliments within the framework of established government guarantee.

[Improvement of the system of medical equipment rationing for military units in peacetime].

We present characteristics of a new regulatory act issued by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation - Medical equipment supply rate for large units, military units and facilities of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in peacetime, prepared in the course of modernization of the system of medical equipment rationing. New system of medical equipment rationing answers modern requirements of the Armed Forces. Introduction of modern norms of medical supply into practical activities of military regulatory bodies, medical units, military units and organizations will increase the effectiveness and quality of medical service, will help to maintain servicemen's health and will facilitate the combat readiness of medical units.

[Application of shot-latency cortical somato-sensory evoked potentials for evaluation of swallowing disorders in early period after posterior fossa surgery].

Unlabelled: Main tasks of early postoperative period in patients after posterior fossa surgery are the timely and safe weaning from mechanical ventilation and extubation. For clinical assessment of the hypopharynx function we use an algorithm developed in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Burdenko Scientific Research Institute of Neurosurgery. Disadvantages of the clinical test for assessment of patient's readiness for extubation are subjectivity and impossibility to use it in conditions of even superficial sedation.

[Intracranial pressure plateau waves in patients with severe traumatic brain injury].

The goal of the study was to assess frequency of plato waves, their influence on outcomes and define factors leading to plato waves. Ninety eight patients with severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) were included. Blood pressure (BP), intracranial pressure (ICP), cerebral perfusion pressure (CPP) and pressure reactivity index (Prx) were registered.

The authors analyze new legal regulatory document--Medical equipment and reserves supply rate for military units and organisations of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, developed in the process of modernization of the system of medical equipment rationing for military units. New legal regulatory document was developed with the aim to replace the similar document d.d 1996-1997.
