Cannabidiol Increases Psychotropic Effects and Plasma Concentrations of Δ-Tetrahydrocannabinol Without Improving Its Analgesic Properties.

Cannabidiol (CBD), the main non-intoxicating compound in cannabis, has been hypothesized to reduce the adverse effects of Δ-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the main psychoactive and analgesic component of cannabis. This clinical trial investigated the hypothesis that CBD counteracts the adverse effects of THC and thereby potentially improves the tolerability of cannabis as an analgesic. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, five-way cross-over trial was performed in 37 healthy volunteers.

CORRELATION BETWEEN THE RIGHT TO HEALTH CARE AND THE RIGHT TO HOUSING WITHIN MEDICAL AND LAW-ENFORCEMENT PRACTICE IN TERMS OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.

The purpose of the article is to identify the correlation between the right to health care and the right to housing in medical and enforcement practices in terms of the COVID-19 pandemic. The materials of the research were the legislation of the EU, Georgia, Ukraine, as well as information from World Health Organization, the World Bank, the media, and statistical data related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dialectical, axiological, statistical, comparative and legal methods were applied during the research.

Bioactivity Features of a Zn-1%Mg-0.1%Dy Alloy Strengthened by Equal-Channel Angular Pressing.

The structure, phase composition, corrosion and mechanical properties, as well as aspects of biocompatibility in vitro and in vivo, of a Zn-1%Mg-0.1%Dy alloy after equal-channel angular pressing (ECAP) were studied. The structure refinement after ECAP leads to the formation of elongated α-Zn grains with a width of ~10 µm and of Mg- and Dy-containing phases.
