A comprehensive study was performed of the deformation and temperature behavior during quasi-static tension, as well as the peculiarities of accumulation and dissipation of energy during plastic deformation. Microstructural analysis at the pre-fracture stage of pure titanium and Ti-45Nb alloy in the coarse grain (CG) and ultrafine-grained (UFG) states was also conducted. It was shown that substructural and dispersion hardening leads to a change in the regularities of dissipation and accumulation energies during deformation of the samples of the pure titanium and Ti-45Nb alloy in the UFG state.

The paper presents the results of fatigue-testing ultrafine-grained and coarse-grained Ti-45 wt.% Nb alloy samples under very high cycle fatigue (gigacycle regime), with the stress ratio R = -1. The ultrafine-grained (UFG) structure in the investigated alloy was formed by the two-stage SPD method, which included multidirectional forging (abc-forging) and multipass rolling in grooved rollers, with further recrystallization annealing.

Described in the article is a clinical case report regarding complete endovascular arterialization of deep crural and pedal veins in a male patient with accompanying pathology and impossibility of intraluminal restoration of the arterial bed. Peculiarities of the presented case report consisted in creation of an arteriovenous anastomosis in the upper third of the crus using an endovascular technique. During treatment, a repeat intervention was required, i.

Phosphazene-containing epoxy oligomers (PEO) were synthesized by the interaction of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene (HCP), phenol, and bisphenol A in a medium of excess of epichlorohydrin using potassium carbonate and hydroxide as HCl acceptors with the aim of obtaining a product with lower viscosity and higher phosphazene content. PEOs are mixtures of epoxycyclophosphazene (ECP) and a conventional organic epoxy resin based on bisphenol A in an amount controlled by the ratio of the initial mono- and diphenol. According to P NMR spectroscopy, pentasubstituted aryloxycyclotrophosphazene compounds predominate in the ECP composition.

Surgical interventions are used more often for treatment of patients with lesions of arteries of the femoropopliteal segment. Considerable role in widening indications for using an endovascular method of treatment is played by improvement of roentgenosurgical tools and equipment. Implantation of stents into arteries of this segment has become a standard intervention whose results are the starting point for comparing with the results of other methods of roentgenendovascular revascularization.
