Stability and bifurcation analysis of a 2DOF dynamical system with piezoelectric device and feedback control.

This study aims to demonstrate the behaviors of a two degree-of-freedom (DOF) dynamical system consisting of attached mass to a nonlinear damped harmonic spring pendulum with a piezoelectric device. Such a system is influenced by a parametric excitation force on the direction of the spring's elongation and an operating moment at the supported point. A negative-velocity-feedback (NVF) controller is inserted into the main system to reduce the undesired vibrations that affect the system's efficiency, especially at the resonance state.

Inhibitory behavior and adsorption of asparagine dipeptide amino acid on the Fe(111) surface.

Context: The inhibitory effect of asparagine (Asn) and its derivatives on iron (Fe) corrosion was studied by performing density functional theory (DFT) calculations. In this paper, the global and local reactivity descriptors of Asn in the protonated and neutral forms were evaluated. Also, the changes in reactivity were investigated when dipeptides were combined with Asn.

DOT-ELISA AS A FIELD TEST FOR HYDATID DIAGNOSIS.

Cystic hydatid disease (Hydatidosis) is one of the most important parasitic zoonoses and remains a public health and economic problem all over the world. Cyst fluid was obtained from hepatic and pulmonary cysts for demonstration of protoscolices and hooklets. Therefore, a standardized and approachable diagnostic tool for the serodiagnosis of CE is still needed.

Toxoplasmosis is one of the most world-wide spread zoonosis representing a very serious clinical and veterinary problem. Although rare, congenital toxoplasmosis can cause severe ne- urological or ocular disease (leading to blindness) as well as cardiac and cerebral anomalies. Prenatal care must include education about prevention of toxoplasmosis.
