The COVID-19 pandemic has intensified workplace violence (WPV) against healthcare workers, exposing them to unprecedented levels of aggression. Incidents of verbal abuse, threats, and physical assaults have increased, especially in high-stress environments such as emergency departments and intensive care units, exacerbating psychological challenges for healthcare staff. This commentary explores the profound impact of WPV on healthcare workers' mental health and job satisfaction.

While there is a growing movement to utilize APMs for substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services, they have rarely included SUD prevention strategies. Challenges to using APMs for SUD prevention include underdeveloped program outcome measures, inadequate SUD prevention funding, and lack of clarity regarding what prevention strategies might fit within the scope of APMs.

This study aims to identify clinical and biological factors uniquely associated with oligo-metastatic behavior.
Methods: Metastatic colon cancer patients from an academic center underwent genetic characterization.
Purpose: In kidney transplantation (KT), delayed graft function (DGF) is associated with worse outcomes. However, it is unclear what effect DGF plays in long-term survival compared to the impact of the various transplant, donor, and recipient risk factors associated with DGF. This study aims to determine the effect of DGF alone on long-term survival in pediatric deceased donor kidney transplant recipients (DDKTRs).
