[Cardiac rhythm disorders and arterial hypertension in treatment-compliant patients with alcoholic dependence: features of the clinical course and therapy].

Features of dynamics of arterial hypertension and rhythm disorders within 3 years after the termination of alcohol intake were studied. The study included 260 patients with alcoholic dependence at the age from 22 to 74 years (mean age 46±6.6 years).

[The risk of sudden cardiac death in patients with alcohol addiction: how urgent is a problem?].

Features and variants of cardiovascular pathology among patients with alcohol addiction were analyzed in 251 patients with II-III degrees of alcohol addiction during 3 years. Treatment and compliancy of patients were taken into account. Based on the results of the primary clinical and instrumental examination, patients were divided into two groups depending on the presence (181 patients) or the absence (70 patients) of cardiovascular pathology.

[Features of combined (HBV/HCV-infection) viral lesion of the liver].

Aim: To study clinical, biochemical features, course of combined viral hepatitides, dominant viral activity in combination HBV/HCV infection.

Material And Methods: A total of 37 patients with HbsAg and anti-HCV, 23 patients with chronic hepatitis C and 48 patients with chronic hepatitis B were examined (the study and comparison groups, respectively). 67 HbsAg carriers with normal,hepatic parameters (no clinical symptoms, normal transaminase activity) served controls.

[Personality disorders in postoperative period of coronary artery bypass graft surgery].

Personality disorders (PD) are recognized among key maladaptive factors in postoperative period of coronary artery bypass surgery (CABS). However studies on PD among CABS patients are predominantly under psychological approach and information on clinical features is very limited. A present investigation aimed at assessing clinical features and prognostic value of PD in late post operative period of CABS (from 1 to 3 years).

Two types of vulnerability of coronary vessels damaged by atherosclerosis were proposed basing on results of a study of 94 patients with psychosomatic reactions accompanied with ischemia or myocardial infarction. First variant (35 patients) was characterized by stable course of the disease (high effort angina without coronary catastrophes, episodes of unstable angina, etc.) and selective sensitivity to definite key affect of high personal value.
