Osteoporosis is common, affecting more than 20% of women and 6% of men globally over the age of 50. Anti-resorptive drugs, bisphosphonates and denosumab, have been effective treatments for osteoporosis for more than 30 years. Rare complications of anti-resorptive therapy include medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw and atypical femur fractures (AFF).

Food insecurity increased during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the impact varied across different age groups during the prolonged public health emergency. This study sought to describe national food insecurity prevalence by adult age group at multiple stages of the pandemic and explore differences by demographic characteristics. Data were from the nationally representative US Census Bureau's Household Pulse Survey from April 2020 to May 2023 (N = 4,153,462).

Children and adolescents living with HIV in Africa experience poor outcomes across the HIV cascade of care. Paediatric and adolescent-friendly services are crucial to their well-being, and recent years have seen a call for urgent service improvements.
