The outer corona plays an essential role at the onset of mitosis by expanding to maximize microtubule attachment to kinetochores. The low-density structure of the corona forms through the expansion of unattached kinetochores. It comprises the RZZ complex, the dynein adaptor Spindly, the plus-end directed microtubule motor centromere protein E (CENP-E), and the Mad1/Mad2 spindle-assembly checkpoint proteins.

The carapace shape was evaluated by means of individual asymmetry scores (=fluctuating asymmetry) whereas the carapace thickness was assessed by measuring the carapace dry weight. The energy density was analyzed through its negative relationship with water content in muscle tissue.

We present the electrocardiography and electrograms of a patient who underwent an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) with CRT implantation showing a low percentage of ventricular pacing as a result of T wave oversensing of paced QRS. The patient showed no clinical improvement.

Introduction: Although Mycoplasma pneumoniae is usually assumed as an infection mainly prevalent in school aged children and adolescents, there is evidence supporting that it may occur at younger ages. This could be related to social conditions, like crowding and day care center/school attendance more frequently and at younger ages than two decades ago. We estimated the prevalence of antibodies anti- Mycoplasma pneumoniae in children aged under 12 years.
