β-Caryophyllene (BCP) is a naturally occurring sesquiterpene found in numerous plant species, including Cannabis sativa. BCP has shown a high safety profile and a wide range of biological functions, including beneficial effects in neurodegenerative and inflammatory diseases. Here, we used behavioral, pharmacological, and in-silico docking analyses to investigate the effects and mechanism of action of BCP in Fragile X Syndrome (FXS), the most common inherited cause of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and intellectual disability.

This study used real-world data from three separate United States (US) databases to evaluate dosing patterns and time to next treatment (TTNT) following the first-incident adverse event (AE) in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL) treated with first-line ibrutinib with and without dose reduction (DR). Median TTNT or death in patients with and without a DR following an AE in each database was as follows: Optum Clinformatics Data Mart (CDM): 59.5 and 30.

For patients with locally advanced/metastatic urothelial carcinoma (la/mUC), first-line (1L) treatment with platinum-based chemotherapy (PBC) followed by avelumab 1L maintenance (1LM) is a recommended therapy per treatment guidelines in patients without disease progression. However, contemporary real-world (rw) data among patients receiving this treatment are necessary to understand clinical outcomes and optimal treatment sequencing. This retrospective cohort study analyzed rw treatment patterns and clinical outcomes, including overall survival (rwOS) and progression-free survival (rwPFS), in patients with la/mUC receiving avelumab 1LM.

Background And Objectives: Prevalence estimates for classical homocystinuria (HCU) are variable and likely underestimated due to underdiagnosis. Claims data represent a strong but seldom used resource to analyze prevalence of HCU. The aim of this study was to estimate a prevalence range of HCU in the US utilizing a combination of diagnosis codes, total homocysteine levels, and clinical presentations indicative of HCU.
