A Novel Approach for Dynamic (4d) Multi-View Stereo System Camera Network Design.

Image network design is a critical factor in image-based 3D shape reconstruction and data processing (especially in the application of combined SfM/MVS methods). This paper aims to present a new approach to designing and planning multi-view imaging networks for dynamic 3D scene reconstruction without preliminary information about object geometry or location. The only constraints are the size of defined measurement volume, the required resolution, and the accuracy of geometric reconstruction.

[Esophageal achalasia in children (analysis of five cases)].

Oesophageal achalasia is a disease of middle age and is only exceptionally observed in children. Five patients aged from 6.5 to 14 years were treated for this achalasia.

[Gastroesophageal reflux and diseases of the respiratory system in children; etiopathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment].

16 children with various pulmonary symptoms were presented. Gastrooesophageal reflux was diagnosed as a cause of that. The causal correlation between gastrooesophageal reflux and respiratory symptoms was established on the ground of 24-hour monitoring of oesophageal pH, radioisotopic examination of the stomach and oesophagus, evaluation of the bronchial reactivity to the acidification of the oesophagus and of the allergic tests.

[Functional status of the bronchial tree in infants with gastroesophageal reflux].

Airway resistance (Raw) and functional residual capacity (FRC pl) were determined by plethysmography in 17 children aged 3 to 12 months. Gastroesophageal reflux was diagnosed on the ground of longterm monitoring of esophageal pH or the X-ray examination of the stomach. No elevated airway resistance was found.

[Fiber-optic endoscopy of the lower gastrointestinal tract in children].

Between 1978 and 1985 565 lower gastrointestinal endoscopies were performed in children. In 221 cases the cause of rectal bleeding was explored, in 227 the suspicion of colitis and in 25 of polyposis was verified. To evaluate the results of treatment (polypectomy, surgical procedures and medical therapy in inflammatory bowel disease) 121 examinations were done.
