India, with its vast youth population, grapples with significant mental health issues among young adults in higher education, due to factors such as academic pressure, social isolation, stigma, economic uncertainty, screen time, sedentary lifestyles, and pandemic-related stresses. Though the issue has garnered attention, there's a gap in post-pandemic mental health research for Indian students. To identify targetable determinants of peritoneal metastasis, we focused on appendiceal adenocarcinoma (AC), a gastrointestinal cancer that metastasizes almost exclusively to the peritoneum. Current treatments are extrapolated from colorectal cancer (CRC), yet AC has distinct genomic alterations, mucinous morphology and peritoneum restricted metastatic pattern.

In this report, we discuss the diagnosis and management of a 72-year-old man who developed a renal oncocytoma and a recurrent Pancoast tumor. At the time of our patient's treatment for his renal oncocytoma, thermal and radiofrequency ablation were not frequently employed, and active surveillance was also not the standard of care.
