A 24-year-old man with Marfan syndrome and heart failure from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy was referred to our institution in cardiogenic shock for advanced therapies. He was supported by a femoral intra-aortic balloon pump, then bridged to orthotopic heart transplantation.
