The limit of periviability is constantly changing as infants born at 22-25 weeks of gestation increasingly survive. The data from our region are limited due to the small numbers of these infants among the NICU population. In this study, we evaluated the survival rates and short-term outcomes among preterm neonates between 22 and 24 weeks of gestation admitted to Tawam Hospital, United Arab Emirates.

Caregivers of people with dementia often experience high levels of stress and poor sleep, and those from underrepresented communities face additional burdens, such as language barriers and cultural adaptation challenges. Participants, consisting of 29 dementia caregivers from underrepresented populations, wore smartwatches that tracked various physiological and behavioral markers, including stress level, heart rate, steps taken, sleep duration and stages, and overall daily wellness.

For long term imaging, the light-sheet typically needs to be stabilized to the detection focal plane for the best imaging results. Current light-sheet stabilization methods rely on fluorescence emission from the sample, which may interrupt the scientific imaging and add to sample photobleaching.

The techno-economic (TEA) and life cycle assessment (LCA) of biogas upgrading (BioCNG) and energy generation via combined heat and power (CHP) processes for energy utilization were carried out to realize the environmental impacts and cost-effectiveness of the studied processes. Three AcoD conditions of untreated, hydrothermally (150 °C, 60 min) and thermal-alkali pretreated (1% NaOH, 150 °C- 60 min) wheat straw (WS) with food waste and cow manure were studied in semi-continuous mode for 340 days under variable organic loading rates (OLR, 1.
