Kaposiform hemangioendothelioma (KHE) is a vascular neoplasm characterized by abnormal angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis. Here, we present a case of a 19-month-old male with KHE of the right leg with bony involvement who was initially misdiagnosed with infantile hemangioma. Due to its heterogeneous presentation and frequent occurrence of comorbidities such as Kasabach-Merritt phenomenon, clinical and pathological correlation is essential for diagnosis of KHE.

In this article, we outline the plans, protocols and strategies to set up the first nationwide primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) program for ST-elevation myocardial Infarction (STEMI) in Qatar, as well as the difficulties and the multi-disciplinary solutions that we adopted in preparation. We will also report some of the landmark literature that guided our plans. The guidelines underscore the need for adequate number of procedures to justify establishing a primary-PCI service and maintain competency.

The purpose of this study was to assess the prognostic value of the Killip classification at the presentation in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). In 2007 and over 5 months, 6704 consecutive patients with ACS were enrolled in the Gulf Registry of Acute Coronary Events. Patients were categorized according to Killip classification at presentation (Classes I, II, III, and IV).
